Curtiss McClymond is the Chief Executive Officer for PETEX and is closely involved in all aspects of the oil and gas business including the supervision of property acquisition and drilling. Raised in Breckenridge, Texas, Curt began acquiring his experience in the oil and gas industry at an early age when his father served as president and co-owner of a large independent oil and gas production company. Working and gaining practical experience from a host of friends and experts along the way, he soon started his own company that would grow into PETEX

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER    Nic McClymond   Nic McClymond, PE is the Chief Operating Officer for PETEX. He began his employment with PETEX in 2010 as the Operations Manager. Nic is also heavily involved in the drilling and acquisition side of the business. He came to PETEX from Merit Energy Company where he spent 5 years and obtained a strong knowledge of oil and gas operations across various basins and asset groups in Wyoming, Colorado and Michigan. Nic also spent many summers as a Roustabout working for his family’s business. He received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 and is a certified Professional Engineer.

Nic McClymond, PE is the Chief Operating Officer for PETEX. He began his employment with PETEX in 2010 as the Operations Manager. Nic is also heavily involved in the drilling and acquisition side of the business. He came to PETEX from Merit Energy Company where he spent 5 years and obtained a strong knowledge of oil and gas operations across various basins and asset groups in Wyoming, Colorado and Michigan. His responsibilities include supervision of financial operations for PETEX -related entities, as well as assisting with all phases of management of the operating company and related oil and gas producing companies. He is a partner in certain PETEX associated oil and gas producing partnerships. Conner received his BBA from Texas Wesleyan University in May 1982. He has over 25 years of experience with oil and gas operations and eight years of public accounting experience with emphasis in oil and gas tax matters and business transactions

Conner Stamper, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer for PETEX. Conner joined PETEX in 2003. His responsibilities include supervision of financial operations for PETEX -related entities, as well as assisting with all phases of management of the operating company and related oil and gas producing companies. He is a partner in certain PETEX associated oil and gas producing partnerships. Conner received his BBA from Texas Wesleyan University in May 1982. CONTROLLER    Dillon Smith   Dillon Smith, Controller, began his employment with PETEX in May of 2014. Dillon joined our team as a Financial Analyst, later transitioning to JIB Manager then Controller. As Controller, he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company as well as management of all accounting staff. He obtained his BBA in Entrepreneurial Management and a minor in Energy Management from Texas Christian University. He has supplemented his on-the-job training with numerous accounting, tax, finance and other oil and gas related courses. Dillon works on a daily basis with all intercompany entities.

In 1988, he joined Bettis, Boyle, and Stovall in Graham as Land Manager, then moved to the acquisitions group in 1989. He was part of a two-man team that created from scratch and sold to GE Capital. He then was instrumental in forming a new entity to start the process again. In 2002, he formed Christian & White Properties to acquire properties for his own account. Barry is active in his local community, Graham, Texas where he formerly served as councilman and mayor. Barry attended the University of Texas majoring in Petroleum Land Management.
